New Look(s), Old Me…

February 22, 2015

Ahoy friends, family, and friendly internet strangers,

For reasons I can only sort-of explain, I decided to change my blog host from Blogger.com, the internet equivalent to a big-wheel tricycle (I NEVER GOT ONE OF THOSE by the way…), to WordPress.org, the internet equivalent of a Lamborghini. Or a hovercraft. Or a Boing 747. I’m not sure, but what I do know is I’m way over my head…

I’m excited to take much more creative control here at the helm, hopefully not at the expense of my blog content or enthusiasm for said blog.

I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of time today (actually >8 hours and counting) making the painstaking and slightly expensive switch, and I’m definitely piloting this advanced format with no manual. So anyone with helpful comments/tidbits, etc regarding WordPress- I’m all ears.

I do hope you’ll adjust your readers accordingly and stick with me as I sort out this new bloggy adventure. After all, it’s all to bring you better photos, more appealing layouts, and ultimately more exciting content!

Stay tuned…

Hang in there – WordPress is a good thing. I’d suggest you get the free version of Wordfence to lock it all up and speed up performance, but that can be later. If you have any questions, look me up. Hopefully I’ll be in Welly permanently soon.

    Hello,
My name is Tizzdale, and I am a current student in the US at FIDM. I am doing an international business project and was wondering if you could help me out. I need to come up with a product or service that is needed in NZ or if it already exist how can I make it better? What do you think is missing in NZ, more specifically Auckland? What do Kiwis love? I am trying to get a better understanding of their psychographics, My only idea was a direct cruise line from Auckland to Sydney (most current cruises stop at many places) but I learned that Princess cruises have a cruise that does that already. I also thought that it would be cool to incorporate the Maori culture somehow, but I can’t get a clear answer as to how the population feel towards the indigenous people. Any input or advice you have could help out immensely. Thank you for your time!

Is there an RSS feed with the new site? I’ve been following you in my feed reader, but I haven’t found an RSS feed I can use with your new approach.
