Long story short I found your blog while looking for mountain biking for my husband in New Zealand. We came there for our honeymoon in December 2015 and have not went a day since that New Zealand is not talked about. We miss it. I am in nursing school now and work in an outpatient surgery center as office manager in North Carolina. Our goal for the future is to do Tavel nursing to New Zealand to live there. How did you decide to move from the states to there to do nursing? And what made you choose Christchurch?

We fell in love with NZ while we were here on our honeymoon as well! We came in 2012. We spent a year prepping and doing he paperwork necessary to come. To be honest, Christchurch was our second choice; but we took the place that offered me a job. Im quite happy to be here – centrally located and with lots of job options. Your best bet is to get 2 years nursing experience behind you before you try to come. You don’t have to, but you’ll have much more luck finding a job, unfortunately. Cheers 🙂

Come on, you must want to tell me something!
